The 2005 Tour De France is over. Lance can ride off into the sunset with his 7th win, and the rest of the peloton can start thinking about how things will be next year. I have to say that for the most part it was once again a pretty dull Tour as far as the GC went.
Aside from the drama within the main race, for which there was plenty, starting of course our own David Zabriskie and his awesome start in yellow, to his heartbreaking crash in the TTT. We saw Hincapie win a stage, Horner go on the attack (then get dropped), Vino attack, then attack again, and again! Rasmussen was the star winning the first jersey ever for Rabobank, as well as (almost) winning both the polka dot jersey and third overall.
All in all, it wasn't a bad Tour, but I can't wait for next year when it'll be a "whole new bike game"!
