I think he's got a shot....in the interview on velonews.com with lance he said that the course is nearly all into a headwind, and feels more like 30k than 20k...
With Dave doing so well in the giro tt last month he's gotta be considered one of the favorites...would be great to see him get the first stage!
Hopefully more on the bike interviews will be forthcoming the next couple weeks...

Fri, July 1, 2005 - 8:40 PMDidn't even think of that senerio, but yeah why not? I think he's got as good a shot at it as someone like Cancellara or Michael Rodgers who I think will going for a high overall placing this year.
